A delightful dessert that combines the crunch of pretzels with sweet apples and a creamy cheesecake layer.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups pretzels, crushed
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 cup apples, diced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for the apple mixture)
  • 2 cups apple juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 1 cup of sugar. Press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish and bake for 10 minutes. Allow it to cool afterwards.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese and whipped topping until smooth. Spread this mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
  4. In a separate bowl, toss the diced apples with 1/2 cup of sugar and cinnamon. Layer this apple mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  5. Finally, mix the apple juice with a bit of sugar and pour it over the entire dish. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing. Let the pretzel crust cool completely before adding the cream cheese layer.
