- 2 cups pretzel sticks
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2-3 apples, diced
- 1 cup apple pie filling (optional)
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Crush the pretzel sticks and mix them with the melted butter and sugar. Spread evenly in a baking dish and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping and cinnamon.
- Once the pretzel crust has cooled, spread the cream cheese mixture over the top.
- Top with diced apples, adding apple pie filling if desired.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the entire dish.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free pretzels. For a lighter dish, use low-fat cream cheese and whipped topping.
