Ingredients

- 10 oz bag mini marshmallows
- 5 cups rice cereal
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon apple pie spice
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Reserve 1/2 heaping cup of marshmallows and set aside.
- Add the remaining marshmallows to a large pot.
- Add the milk and butter to the pot.
- Heat over medium heat stirring frequently until the marshmallows are melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in the apple pie spice and vanilla.
- Pour in the cereal and stir to combine evenly.
- Add the remaining marshmallows and stir until they are evenly coated.
- Pour the cereal mixture into an 8×8 baking pan lined with parchment paper.
- Using your fingers or parchment paper, lightly press into the pan.
- Leave the treats at room temperature to set.
- Once they’re set, drizzle caramel sauce on top.
Notes
For best results, use low to medium heat to prevent scorching, and lightly butter your spatula for easy handling. Store in an airtight container for optimal freshness.
