  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter, for glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, mix melted butter, milk, and egg. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  3. Gently fold in blueberries.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Tear off pieces of dough and roll them into balls, then coat in cinnamon sugar mixture.
  6. Layer these balls in the prepared bundt pan.
  7. Pour any remaining butter and cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
  8. Bake in preheated oven for about 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before inverting onto a plate. Serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh or fully thawed blueberries to avoid overly wet dough. Keep mixing gentle to prevent breaking berries.
