- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the garlic until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and Cajun seasoning, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss the cooked fettuccine with the sauce until well coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
Grate Parmesan fresh for the best melting quality. If the sauce becomes too thick, thin it with a splash of reserved pasta water.
