- 2 cans of refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
- 2 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing)
- Additional caramel sauce for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
- In a large bowl, mix the diced apples with cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Roll out the cinnamon roll dough and spread the apple mixture evenly on top.
- Roll the dough back up and slice into individual rolls.
- Place the rolls in the prepared baking dish and pour caramel sauce over them.
- Sprinkle with chopped pecans if desired.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Drizzle additional caramel sauce over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
For a healthier option, consider using sugar-free caramel sauce and whole grain dough.
