A playful snack that combines crunch with creamy cherry cheesecake flavor, perfect for movie nights or gifting.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 10 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 cups Chex cereal (rice or corn variety)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup cherry gelatin mix (like Jell-O)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 package (3.5 oz) instant cheesecake pudding mix
  • 1 cup dried cherries, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cereal by placing Chex cereal in a large bowl and set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and butter. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir, and continue microwaving in 15-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Add cherry gelatin mix to the melted chocolate mixture and stir until fully combined.
  4. Pour the cherry-chocolate mixture over the cereal, gently folding until evenly coated.
  5. In a large zip-top bag, mix the powdered sugar and cheesecake pudding mix. Add the coated cereal, seal the bag, and shake until each piece is well covered.
  6. Spread the coated cereal onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to cool.
  7. Once cooled, stir in chopped dried cherries.

Notes

Work quickly when coating the cereal; store in an airtight container for up to five days at room temperature or two weeks in the fridge.
