Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked crunchy chicken (fried or grilled)
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Caesar dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Toast the slices of crusty bread until golden brown.
  2. In a bowl, mix the chopped romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the crunchy chicken on one slice of toasted bread.
  4. Top with the dressed romaine lettuce.
  5. Place the second slice of bread on top and press down gently.
  6. Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use day-old bread for better toasting. Keep the lettuce chilled and dress it just before serving for optimal crunch.
