- 2 slices of crusty bread
- 1 cup cooked crunchy chicken (fried or grilled)
- 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
- 2 tablespoons Caesar dressing
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Toast the slices of crusty bread until golden brown.
- In a bowl, mix the chopped romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the crunchy chicken on one slice of toasted bread.
- Top with the dressed romaine lettuce.
- Place the second slice of bread on top and press down gently.
- Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, use day-old bread for better toasting. Keep the lettuce chilled and dress it just before serving for optimal crunch.
