An elegant and easy Christmas salmon recipe featuring flaky fillets brushed with a garlic and herb mixture, topped with lemon slices and baked until tender.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic, dill, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Brush the herb mixture over the salmon fillets.
  5. Lay the lemon slices on top of the salmon.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with additional herbs if desired.

Notes

Choose fillets of even thickness for even cooking. Pat salmon dry before applying herb oil for better adherence.
