Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped dried cranberries, orange juice, orange zest, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined.
- Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread a thin layer of the cranberry-orange cream cheese mixture evenly over the tortilla.
- Sprinkle some chopped pecans over the cream cheese layer for added crunch.
- Starting from one end, roll the tortilla tightly to form a pinwheel. Be sure to roll it snugly to keep the filling secure.
- Repeat steps 2-4 with the remaining tortillas and filling until everything is used up.
- Once all tortillas are rolled, slice the pinwheels into bite-sized pieces.
- If desired, drizzle honey over the top before serving to enhance the sweetness.
- Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving for easier slicing and a refreshing taste.
Notes
Use room temperature cream cheese for easier mixing and consider chilling the pinwheels for enhanced flavors.
