  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt or cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Begin by cooking the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through.
  3. Stir in the tomato sauce and bring to a simmer.
  4. Reduce heat and mix in the Greek yogurt or cottage cheese until well combined and creamy.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until evenly coated.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top, cover, and let it melt for a couple of minutes.

Notes

Use pasta that holds sauce well, such as penne or fusilli. Stir the yogurt or cottage cheese in off the heat to avoid curdling.
