- 8 oz pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup Greek yogurt or cottage cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Begin by cooking the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through.
- Stir in the tomato sauce and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat and mix in the Greek yogurt or cottage cheese until well combined and creamy.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top, cover, and let it melt for a couple of minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Use pasta that holds sauce well, such as penne or fusilli. Stir the yogurt or cottage cheese in off the heat to avoid curdling.
