Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Garlic Sauce:
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups milk (or half-and-half for extra creaminess)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Coat chicken: Dip each breast into the beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese.
  3. Cook chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and keep warm.
  4. Make garlic sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in flour, then slowly whisk in milk until the mixture is smooth and thickened.
  5. Add Parmesan cheese to the sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve chicken with garlic sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Use a meat mallet to pound the chicken for even cooking. Store chicken and sauce separately for best results.
