- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Garlic Sauce:
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 cups milk (or half-and-half for extra creaminess)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Coat chicken: Dip each breast into the beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese.
- Cook chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and keep warm.
- Make garlic sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in flour, then slowly whisk in milk until the mixture is smooth and thickened.
- Add Parmesan cheese to the sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve chicken with garlic sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Use a meat mallet to pound the chicken for even cooking. Store chicken and sauce separately for best results.
