  • Total Time: 60 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken legs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4-6 golden potatoes, cut into wedges
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken legs with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the seasoned chicken legs on a baking sheet.
  4. In the same bowl, toss the potato wedges with a splash more of olive oil, salt, and pepper, then arrange them around the chicken on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the chicken is crispy and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) while the potatoes are tender.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, consider using skinless chicken legs or sweet potatoes. Storing leftovers in airtight containers can maintain their flavor.
