Easy and flavorful Mississippi steak bites made in a slow cooker, perfect for busy weeknights or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs beef sirloin or chuck roast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncini peppers
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the beef bites in the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning and au jus gravy mix over the beef.
  3. Add the butter on top of the seasonings.
  4. Scatter the pepperoncini peppers over the mixture.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the beef is tender.
  6. Serve warm with your choice of sides.

Notes

Choose chuck roast for the most tender texture; trim excess fat but leave some for flavor. Adjust seasoning salt to taste near the end.
