Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce or relish
  • 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Baguette or pre-made crostini
  • Brie cheese (ensure it’s at room temperature)
  • Fresh thyme leaves (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.
  3. Lightly brush both sides of the slices with olive oil.
  4. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet and bake for about 5 to 7 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  5. Remove from the oven and let the crostini cool slightly.
  6. Spread a generous layer of cranberry sauce on each toasted slice.
  7. Top each crostini with a slice of pear followed by a piece of Brie cheese.
  8. Optional: Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves over the cheese.
  9. Return the crostini to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the Brie is melted.
  10. Serve warm.
