- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 to 12 squares of semi-sweet chocolate or chocolate chips
- 1 cup vegan mini marshmallows
- 2 tablespoons melted butter or neutral oil
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of fine sea salt (optional)
- Cooking spray or parchment paper for the pan
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles along the perforations.
- Brush each triangle lightly with melted butter or oil.
- Place a small square of chocolate and a few vegan mini marshmallows near the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, tucking the filling inside and pinching seams to seal.
- Arrange the bites on the prepared baking sheet with the seam side down.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the tops of the bites.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown and chocolate is melted.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 2 minutes before sprinkling with a pinch of sea salt if desired.
- Serve warm for the best melty experience.
Notes
For best results, cut chocolate into equal-sized pieces for consistent filling. Chill the bites in warm kitchens before baking.
