Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the eggnog and cornstarch over medium heat. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens (about 5 minutes).
- Remove the saucepan from heat and allow it to cool slightly.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream, adding powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the cooled eggnog mixture into the whipped cream until fully combined.
- Pour the creamy filling into the pre-made pie crust, smoothing the top.
- Sprinkle with ground nutmeg for extra flavor.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
