A succulent ribeye steak perfectly seared and bathed in a rich garlic butter and Parmesan cream sauce.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces ribeye steaks (About 1-inch thick, 8 oz each)
  • To taste salt
  • To taste pepper
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the ribeye steaks evenly with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter.
  3. Once the butter melts and bubbles, add the ribeye steaks to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
  4. Using tongs, flip the steaks and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter along with the minced garlic to the skillet.
  5. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium-rare steaks. Adjust time as needed for your preferred doneness.
  6. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  7. In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the heavy cream. Whisk continuously to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom.
  8. Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet, whisking until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
  9. Taste the sauce and adjust salt and pepper as needed.
  10. Slice the steaks, plate them, and drizzle the creamy Parmesan sauce over the top. Garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

Choose high-quality meat for the best flavor and juiciness. Allow the steaks to rest after cooking for optimum results.
