Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • Optional toppings (e.g., rosemary, olives, cherry tomatoes)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine gluten free flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Allow the dough to rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  6. Spread the dough onto a greased baking sheet and use your fingers to create dimples.
  7. Add optional toppings if desired.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool before slicing.

Notes

Use warm water (100-110°F) to activate the yeast. If your gluten free flour blend has xanthan gum, don’t add more.
