  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 whole wheat wraps or pitas
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • Roasted garlic feta sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Cook until beef is browned. Drain fat.
  2. Stir in oregano, salt, and pepper; cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. Warm the wraps or pitas in a separate pan.
  4. Assemble the wraps: layer ground beef mixture, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and crumbled feta cheese. Drizzle with roasted garlic feta sauce if using.
  5. Roll the wraps tightly and serve.

Notes

For best results, brown the beef well and warm the wraps before assembling. Store fillings separately to keep wraps from soggy.
