- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 whole wheat wraps or pitas
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 cup tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- Roasted garlic feta sauce (optional)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Cook until beef is browned. Drain fat.
- Stir in oregano, salt, and pepper; cook for another 2 minutes.
- Warm the wraps or pitas in a separate pan.
- Assemble the wraps: layer ground beef mixture, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and crumbled feta cheese. Drizzle with roasted garlic feta sauce if using.
- Roll the wraps tightly and serve.
Notes
For best results, brown the beef well and warm the wraps before assembling. Store fillings separately to keep wraps from soggy.
