- Lasagna noodles
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set them aside.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the shredded chicken along with the Italian seasoning. Cook until heated through.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer three lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the noodles, then layer half of the chicken mixture, followed by a layer of mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layering process: add more marinara sauce, noodles, ricotta, chicken, and mozzarella.
- Finish with the remaining noodles, cover with marinara sauce, and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Add sautéed vegetables for a nutritious boost or spice it up with red pepper flakes in the marinara sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
