- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1/4 cup espresso or strong brewed coffee
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese (optional)
- Chocolate shavings or extra cocoa powder for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, milk, espresso, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and baking powder.
- Mix until well combined and smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- If using, dollop the mascarpone cheese on top and swirl it into the mixture with a knife for a marbled tiramisu effect.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the oats are set and the top is slightly golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving so the texture firms up.
- Top with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
Notes
For firmer bake, let it rest 10–15 minutes after oven removal. Can be adapted for vegan or gluten-free diets.
