- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup pickle juice
- 1 cup flour
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground pepper, to taste
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine chicken tenders with pickle juice. Marinate for at least 2 hours in the fridge.
- In a shallow dish, mix flour, salt, and pepper.
- In another dish, beat the eggs until smooth.
- In a third dish, place breadcrumbs for coating.
- Remove chicken from pickle juice and coat each tender first in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry chicken tenders for about 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
For a healthier alternative, consider baking instead of frying. Pair with coleslaw or fries and serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
