  • Total Time: 28 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1-2 tbsp milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugars, baking powder, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for about 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow the donuts to cool before removing them from the pan.
  8. For the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled donuts and enjoy!

Notes

Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for the best mixing results. Use a piping bag or ziplock bag for even filling of the donut pan.
