Ingredients

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk (adjust as needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and Parmesan cheese until fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and mix until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, chopped rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until a dough forms.
  6. If the dough is too dry, add milk, one tablespoon at a time, until it holds together.
  7. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  8. Use cookie cutters to cut out snowflake shapes.
  9. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  11. Allow to cool before serving.
