Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak pieces to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 4-5 minutes or until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the broccoli and mushrooms. Sauté until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Return the steak to the skillet and add the cooked linguine. Toss to combine.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes if using.
- Cook for a few more minutes until everything is heated through. Serve warm.
Notes
Pat the steak dry before seasoning for a good sear. Don’t overcrowd the pan; work in batches if needed. Reserve pasta water to loosen sauce if necessary.
