A quick and satisfying burrito filled with tender steak, crispy fries, and melting cheese, all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (flank or sirloin), thinly sliced
  • 2 cups cooked french fries
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional topping sour cream
  • Optional topping salsa
  • Optional topping guacamole

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, sautéing until softened.
  2. Add the steak to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
  3. Take a large tortilla and layer with cooked fries, steak mixture, and shredded cheese.
  4. Roll up the tortilla tightly, folding in the sides as you go.
  5. Optionally, grill the burrito in a pan until the tortilla is golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve with your favorite toppings like sour cream, salsa, or guacamole.

Notes

For best results, use a hot skillet to sear the steak quickly. Assemble and store burritos in the refrigerator for meal prep.
