- 2 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 packet of onion soup mix
- 1 can (14 ounces) beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4-6 hoagie rolls
- Sliced provolone cheese
- Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place the beef chuck roast in the crockpot.
- Sprinkle the onion soup mix over the roast.
- Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 480 minutes or high for 240 minutes until the meat is tender.
- Remove the roast from the crockpot and shred the meat.
- Return the shredded beef to the juices in the crockpot.
- Serve the beef on hoagie rolls topped with provolone cheese and dip the sandwiches into the au jus.
Notes
Trim excess fat for a leaner sandwich. Toast hoagie rolls for better dipping.
